In addition to the standard emission monitoring equipment required by environmental authorities, the SaniFlame system continuously senses the exhaust gases to provide real time oxygen monitoring. A sophisticated computer algorithm then uses this information to optimize the volume of air that should be injected into the afterburner to achieve the greatest efficiency and cleanest emissions.
The BurnsClean system uses an O2 sensor in the exhaust flue to ensure that the gases leaving the Secondary Chamber are completely combusted. This is accomplished by heating the generated gases to over 850°C and mixing them with additional air in the Chamber. The oxygen level is continuously monitored and adjusted accordingly.
The use of an O2 sensor improves the Secondary Chamber's efficiency because it optimizes the amount of extra air injected into the process.
Optional CO, CO2, NOx, and opacity sensors are available with the SaniFlame if required by the local environmental protection authority.
